KTU

Founded in 1922, Kauno Technologijos Universitetas (KTU) is the largest and oldest technological university in Lithuania, and one of the largest in the Baltic States. KTU is ranked among the top 4% of world universities (QS World University rankings 2014/2015). By integrating education, research and business, KTU focuses its activities on the enhancement of the quality of human life, and the acceleration of statehood development.

Role:

As the social science partner in the project, KTU leads the analysis of energy saving behaviour determinants in WP2 and 5 (Task 5.1 Behavioural determinants of energy consumption), and leads the task on the validation methodology in WP7 (Task 7.6 Comparison and analysis of the results). Their contribution ensures the alignment between technology and the psychological foundation in behavioural psychology. Finally, they lead the definition of policy recommendations for Energy saving in Task 8.3 Energy saving guidelines and policy recommendations.
